In a recent press release by the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, the Nigerian Federal Government has reassured its citizens that it is not in a hurry or in a rush to increase the price of (fuel) Premium Motor Spirit (PMS).
Despite the huge burden of under-recovery, the federal government has made it known to the general public that there will be no hike in the price of PMS.
In the press release, the Honorable Minister of State for Petroleum H.E Timipre Sylva urged petroleum marketers not to engage in any illegal practice that will in the long run affect the distribution of PMS.
He also urged the general public to avoid panic, while letting them know that Nigeria has enough Petroleum products for the Nation.
