With the aim of strengthening our team, we are looking for a: Production Superintendent – Dangote Project The resource will be involved in the following activities: Define the priorities and commitments for the production units Assure a safe, environmentally sound, monitoring releases to the environment and working closely with environmental staff to ensure regulatory compliance Communicate daily with another key manager on plant operating conditions, reliability issues, and compliance issues Conduct periodic safety reviews Develop the production budget plans and procedures, giving clear concise operating instructions Coordinate the resources and provide guidance to remove plant-bottlenecks in order to achieve continuous improvement.
Manage available resources so that budgeted production quantities are produced on the specification and at the appropriate cost The ideal candidate has a Degree in Chemical Engineering, or equivalent culture, and at least 15 years of operational and production management experience in a fertilizer or chemical industry. The candidate has fluent Knowledge of English and team working and communication skills.
Geographical mobility is required at the national and international levels.
